EMCS: all you may need is on the TAXUD website

On the website of the TAXUD General Directorate of the EU COmmissione a new section contains all the indication concerning the EMCS (Excise Movement and Control System), computerised system established by the Decision 1152/2003/EC, for the monitoring of the movements of excise goods under suspension of excise duty within the EU.

A partire dal 1° aprile 2010, l’EMCS sostituirà Il documento cartaceo che attualmente accompagna tale circolazione (il Documento Amministrativo di accompagnamento, o "DAA"), con una serie di messaggi elettronici trasmessi dallo speditore al destinatario tramite le amministrazioni degli Stati membri. Si tratta in particolare del documento amministrativo elettronico (cd. “e-AD” - messaggio IE801) e relativa nota di ricevimento (messaggio IE818).
